Monseñor has no affiliation with any tour operator. Playa del Cura offers a beach cove and a quieter location from which to enjoy the amenities of Puerto Rico, which is just 4 km from the resort. With it's relaxed atmosphere and lack of nightclubs, it is perfect for those seeking a quiet stay. Situated on the southwest coast of Gran Canaria, about an half-hour's drive from the airport, is the small, quiet holiday resort of Playa Del Cura, built on the cliff sides lining the coast. Playa del Cura is on the main coastal bus route so travelling to other places is easy, and taxis are affordable and plentiful. Playa Del Cura has a small, pretty cove beach at the base of the cliffs, covered with dark volcanic sand and pebbles, and strewn with sunbeds so that visitors can make the most of some of the best weather in Gran Canaria. Playa del Cura is well connected to the local bus system with busses leaving every 10 to 20 minutes. Bus number 91 takes you hourly directly to the airport in 30-45 minutes for € 7,00 and further to Las Palmas in 45 to 75 minute. The motorway is only 5 minutes away by car.
