QUINTA DE SÃO TOMÉ was born out of a business opportunity, but the desire to stay and receive soon sprouted in our hearts. The farm gets its name from the inspiration of a trip to São Tomé and Príncipe that ... was not made so that the time, and the budget, could be given to the works to improve the surrounding space. And suddenly, this space was born, which joins the countryside to the city, always benefited and decorated with a personal touch from Mónica and Rui, your hosts. QUINTA DE SÃO TOMÉ is a rural space on the outskirts of the city of Évora. From here to Porta de Avis, it is 2km that can be done on foot or by bicycle on the eco-track that passes in front of our gates. There are 6 accommodation spaces with a total capacity for 20 people between studios, rooms and apartments, each with its own identity provided by the decor and small details. We accommodate individuals, small groups, families, researchers, or nomadic workers. QUINTA DE SÃO TOMÉ offers tailor-made stays in all seasons. In summer, the swimming pool delights the youngest, and in winter, the Fireplace Room and the TV Room are a must. All this at the gates of the heritage city of Évora. Located just 2 km from the walls of Évora, Quinta de São Tomé is a true country retreat with all the benefits of being close to the city. A historic house adapted for rural tourism, it offers 1 studio, 3 bedrooms, 1 T1 apartment and 1 T1 mezzanine, all completely independent, surrounded by nature, among lemon and orange trees, lavender and magnolias, linden, loquat and arbutus trees. At Quinta de São Tomé, each room has its own identity, history and energy. Rest is guaranteed, with 5 out of 5 people saying they don't remember sleeping so well and so peacefully in recent times. Our secret, behind this excellence, is to combine a good mattress and good pillows with an elegant, current decor, with a touch of sophistication and demanding cleanliness. The swimming pool, between palm and olive trees and an abundant grove offers moments of fun and tranquility. The breakfast service, included in the daily stay and served between 7:30 am and 10:30 am, stands out for its quality, with fresh bread every morning, custard tarts, coffee, juice and cereals. After breakfast, the city has so much to offer. With the eco trail route, which connects the cities of Évora and Mora, passing in front of our gates, you can go for a morning jog, or choose to rent a bicycle, take a late afternoon walk and enjoy the nature outside. If you want to park your car during your stay, the public transport service connects you to the city of Évora in just 5 minutes.
