Enjoy a meal or a drink in the sun on the balcony while feasting your eyes on the glorious view of Kotor Bay. Then perhaps take a leisurely stroll to the seaside through a quiet, paved pedestrian street and enjoy the beach and promenade of Djenovici with its many restaurants, bars and shops. The flat is located in Djenovici, a lovely little seaside town on the outskirts of Herceg Novi. If you are looking for relaxation, you might find all you need within walking distance. A 10 minutes' leisurely stroll along a pedestrian residential road will take you down to the seaside with pebbly beaches and a lively promenade. Here you will find several restaurants and bars, as well as shops and a supermarket. If you're after a more active or cultural holiday, Djenovici is also the perfect base to explore the wonders of Montenegro. Visit the nearby town of Herceg Novi (15' drive) with its ancient fortresses and lively nightlife; venture down to the UNESCO sites of Perast (30' drive) and Kotor Old Town (45' drive). There are many other excellent day trips you can take, including Risan with its Roman mosaics, the former royal capital city of Cetinje, the amazing Ostrog monastery carved into the rock of a mountain cliff, the popular seaside resort of Budva, the gorgeous Lake Skadar and many more. You can even venture into Croatia, in fact this is an excellent way to visit Dubrovnik old town (less than 1 hour drive, except in case of queues at the border crossing) while avoiding the high price tag of finding an accommodation there for the night.
