Praia das Maçãs is known for its golden sands and the mouth of the river that gives it its name. It is said that, in the autumn, the river used to carry many apples from the farms it crossed to ... the sand, giving the beach its name. The WOT Sintra Ocean belongs to the WOTELS Group, a chain of hybrid accommodations from north to south in Portugal. Located in Praia das Maçãs, Colares, it is 50 meters from the beach and comprises a common living room, a breakfast room, a small interior patio, 24-hour reception and outdoor parking. Take the opportunity to visit the city of Sintra, 20 minutes away by car, you will find Monserrate Park and Palace, Moorish Castle, Sintra National Palace, Pena National Park and Palace, Chalet and Garden of the Countess d'Edla, Vila Sassetti. Lisbon Airport is a 1-hour drive away.
